A WEAPON IS BORN
06/28/2015

Camelot was created by Michael Cormier and Casey Robbins and donated in June of 2015. It is made of poplar wood purchased from Lowes, sanded and triple coated with Minwax PolyShades Pecan Satin stain.
The staff's name, Camelot, is of special significance to Michael. He directed a Thieves Guilde chessboard production for the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire in 2009 called Dial 'M' for Mordred, a King Arthur-themed stage combat show. For the encampment stage of the production, Michael hand-crafted a round table and ornate chairs for the White Side, staining them with the same shade of Minwax Pecan, as well as a table and chairs stained with Minwax Mahogany for the Black Side. He associates the pecan tint of the stain with the loyal, brave, and stout-hearted knights of the round table, traits he hopes he has endued upon the donated staff.
